Even a gentle touch, pressure, or friction can cause blisters, abrasions, or open wounds<\/strong>. The cause is a defect or lack of certain proteins in the skin that ensure the strength of its individual layers. <\/p>\n In addition to the skin, mucous membranes and some internal organs<\/strong> may also be affected, such as the oral cavity, esophagus, digestive system, or respiratory tract.<\/p>\n Epidermolysis Bullosa is among very rare conditions<\/strong>.
