experience<\/h3>\n<p>After a successful unboxing and initial calibration of the Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer, I finally got to the most interesting part \u2013 the first real actually use. To start, I bought several filaments \u2013 PLA, PLA Silk, and PETG \u2013 so I could try out different materials and colors. <\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, my very first print wasn&#8217;t PLA, but PETG right away. I was a bit curious if there would be any issues, as PETG tends to be more demanding than standard PLA, but the Bambu Lab P2S handled it perfectly. The print went smoothly, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the result.  <\/p>\n<h3 >1. Desiccant boxes for the AMS (silica gel)<\/h3>\n<p>The first thing I printed were silica gel boxes for the AMS system. This is a very useful addition because moisture is a major issue in 3D printing \u2013 especially with PLA, PETG, and other materials. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/makerworld.com\/en\/models\/1698996-ams-2-pro-robust-desiccant-box#profileId-1801552\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View model on MakerWorld<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I printed several pieces at once so I could use them in all the AMS slots immediately. I filled the boxes with silica gel, which helps keep the filaments in the AMS drier and in better condition. <\/p>\n<p><strong>My impressions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the print went completely without issues<\/li>\n<li>even the PETG printed beautifully and reliably<\/li>\n<li>the precision of the parts is excellent \u2013 everything fits exactly as it should<\/li>\n<li>the boxes are sturdy and feel high-quality<\/li>\n<li>no significant stringing or errors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Honestly, I was quite surprised that the very first print turned out this well without the need for complex tuning.<\/p>\n<h3 >2. Poop chute \u2013 &#8220;waste slide&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>As a second model, I printed a so-called &#8220;poop chute,&#8221; which is an exit for waste material from the printer. Bambu printers generate quite a bit of waste during nozzle cleaning and color changes, so this is a very practical item.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/makerworld.com\/en\/models\/201311-poop-chute-basket-outlet-for-x1c-p1s-p2s?from=search#profileId-221690\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View model on MakerWorld<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>My impressions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fits the printer perfectly<\/li>\n<li>waste falls exactly where it should<\/li>\n<li>less mess around the printer<\/li>\n<li>a simple but extremely useful item<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 >Filaments I purchased<\/h3>\n<p>For the first trials, I prepared several filaments to compare different materials. For example, I bought Alzament PLA Silk, Sunlu Silk PLA+, Sunlu PLA, and also Alzament PETG in various colors. <\/p>\n<p>What pleased me most was that I didn&#8217;t have to be afraid of PETG. Although it&#8217;s often said that it&#8217;s easiest for a beginner to start with PLA, my first real print was PETG and it turned out very well. <\/p>\n<h3 >My own projects<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to ready-made models from the internet, I&#8217;ve also started working on my own modeling. I&#8217;m currently working on a design for a rearview mirror mount for my wheelchair, which I want to customize exactly to my needs. <\/p>\n<p>3D printing thus gives me the opportunity to create custom solutions that would otherwise be very difficult to buy or adapt.<\/p>\n<h3 >Overall evaluation of the first prints<\/h3>\n<p>I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. Without any complex setup or fine-tuning, I achieved excellent results on the very first try. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the printer is practically &#8220;plug and play&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>print quality is at a high level right from the start<\/li>\n<li>it handled PETG without any problems<\/li>\n<li>no complicated setup like with older printers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For me personally, this is a huge advantage because I can focus on the models themselves rather than constantly troubleshooting printing issues.<\/p>\n<p>I am extremely satisfied with my first prints on the Bambu Lab P2S. In the next article, I will look at other projects and try to design something of my own \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>After a successful <a
