Creative Sound Blaster GS5 – experience and review
For my birthday, my YouTuber friend Ivana gave me this great Creative Sound Blaster GS5 soundbar. On this page you’ll find my Creative Sound Blaster GS5 review and my experience using it.
Ivana from Canada gave me this great Creative Sound Blaster GS5 soundbar.
Compared to my previous no-name speakers, this soundbar is a huge difference. It delivers up to 30 W, and thanks to the different playback modes, the sound feels even more powerful.
There’s a Windows app available for the soundbar where you can set a lot of things—for example, a custom LED lighting color, lighting effects, the equalizer, or modes for music, games, and movies.
SuperWide technology
The soundbar features SuperWide technology, which offers two modes:
- Near Field – for desktop use (under the monitor)
- Far Field – for listening from a greater distance
I like the Far Field mode the most. Even though I have the soundbar placed under my monitor, the sound is fantastic—music sounds like it’s coming from every direction. The bass is really excellent.
Controls and features
A big plus is the remote control, which lets me adjust the basic functions. The soundbar also has a small display in the middle that shows the current settings.
